A Norfolk woman has raised more than £20,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and she is looking to enlarge that amount with a bingo night. The Fakenham Times reports that Sharon Moore wants to go over the £25,000 hosting a bingo night in North Elmham.

Moore, a native from Great Ryburgh, has been collecting money for this good cause over the last eight years since someone she knew was diagnosed with the condition. Eyes down for the special bingo event.

This bingo evening will have a Christmas theme. Prizes include a festive hamper and bottles of alcoholic drinks that may prove to be ideal for the forthcoming holiday period. Electrical items and children's toys will also be included on the prize table.

The fundraiser told the newspaper: ‘Once I have reached £25,000 I will set a target of £30,000. I would eventually like to raise £100,000.’ Nafferton Under-Fives pre-school in Yorkshire recently celebrated a bingo evening to raise money for a new home, according to the Driffield Times.
