According to an industry representative from the Scandinavian nations, Norwegians are suffering of ‘bingo fever’.

Voices from Norsk Bingo AS, have suggested that the numbers show the game is enjoyed by many people in this country.

This comments come one week after Ravi Virpal, director of Bullet Business, the company that organizes the UK-based Online Bingo Summit in London, claimed that bingo has "grown in the national conscience" of Britons over the last few years.

Maybe that is why bingo technologies are becoming more and more important for the industry. Touch screen tabletop kiosks have been installed at Norwegian bingo halls, allowing gamers to access online bingo while sitting in traditional land-based halls. Also radio frequency cards are used to play the sessions and make payments.

It is an interesting way of giving people in Norway the opportunity to enjoy a new dimension of bingo.
